The week of February 13 - 19, 2012 is Random Acts of Kindness Week. A random act of kindness is a selfless act performed by a person or people wishing to either assist or cheer up an individual person or people. I can tell you from personal experience that performing a selfless act of kindness for a total stranger brings you as much joy as it gives to the stranger. I have been doing this for several years now - just whenever the situation is suitable.
I hope you visit the link to the short article I just posted on this subject, you will find lots of thoughts on kindness from well-known people that will inspire you and hopefully you will make performing these selfless acts a part of your life. Enjoy!

Before we get too wrapped up in Valentine's Day I thought I would upload some Vintage Leap Year Cards. There are several vintage cards in the public domain but these were the best of the crop. Enjoy!

Maybe it's the weather but for some reason it seems as if all I have been doing is drawing more new clip art. Don't get me wrong, I love creating art of any kind. When I am in the "groove" I may as well accept the fact that I will be creating art because that is all that is on my mind!
I uploaded new work in the Fantasy and Mythical category... unicorns, Pegasus, Pan and more. I also added a lot of new St. Patrick's Day Clip Art to the Holidays category. I hope you find a lot of ways to use the new images. Enjoy!

This Friday, February 3, 2012, National Wear Red Day®, Americans will wear red to show their support for women's heart health. This observance promotes the Red Dress symbol and provides an opportunity for everyone to unite in The Heart Truth's life-saving awareness-to-action movement by putting on a favorite red dress, red shirt, red tie, or Red Dress Pin. Together, we will continue to urge women to protect their hearts, as heart disease is the #1 killer of women.
