The week of October 15 - 21 we celebrate Astronomy Week. Astronomy Day changes every year based appropriately on the first quarter moon, which is generally between mid-April and mid-May. Astronomy Week encompasses Astronomy Day starting on the previous Monday and ending on the following Sunday. Check with you local science museum or library to see if they have any special events to celebrate National Astronomy Day.
