Shadowed images are for use on light or white backgrounds, while unshadowed images are for use on both light and dark background pages.
Laugh and applause prompts are for use when interaction is needed between visitors and Webmasters. For example, place a laugh prompt on humorous and comic content and place an applause prompt on any artistic project, fantastic splash page, innovative Web page coding, or outstanding craft page. Visitors, please laugh or applaud very loudly so the Webmaster will hear you.
