Kwanzaa Invitations and Place Cards
Download Kwanzaa clip art and use this quick and easy method to create your own Kwanzaa party or dinner invitations and place cards.
Before You Create An Invitation
Before you create an invitation or a greeting card, follow these instructions to create a template to help you position the clip art or images on the 8 X 5 paper you have chosen to create your greeting card or invitation on.
What You Need to Know
1. How to download clip art to your computer.
2. How to use a printer to print the invitation.
Optional Knowledge
3. How to use a graphics software program if you choose to add text to the invitation or place cards.
One suggestion for a Kwanzaa invitation is shown below. The clip art used for this invitation is from my own Original Kwanzaa Clip Art. You have my permission to use this clip art for your personal Christmas invitations and place cards.
Quick and Easy Instructions
Download and print the Kwanzaa image below on the lower left portion of an 8x10 sheet of paper.
Fold the 8x10 in half, then fold in half again.
Ensure that the image is the front of the card and that it opens from the right side.
Use a pen or marker on the right hand inside to print your party information.
Quick and Easy Inside Page Decoration
Download and print the corn image below on a separate sheet of paper.
Cut the image out.
Use glue to attach the corn clip art to your inside invitation page.
Use a pen or marker to print your party information.
Note: Use a piece of "rolled" tape to stick the corn clip art to your inside invitation for a
slightly raised look.
Add Clip Art and Text to an Inside Page
Use a graphics software program (Paint Shop Pro, Adobe Photoshop, etc.) to add the corn image to the 8x10 sheet of paper, positioning this image so that it is on the inside right hand page when the invitation is opened. Add your party information text at the same time and your invitation is done.
Quick and Easy Place Cards
Download and print the corn image several time on a sheet of paper.
Cut the image out leaving enough "blank" paper to fold in half so the card will stand up.
Use a pen or marker to print each persons name on the place card.
