Animation is the rapid display of a sequence of images in order to create an illusion of movement. The word animation comes from the latin name anima, the "animating principle", which is the vital force inside every living creature.
Where to use Animated Clip ArtAnimated Clip Art will only work with a program that can "read" the individual images that makes the clip art appear to move. Animated clip art that you find on the Internet has been created to be used on the Web because most Web browsers, such and IE and Netscape can "read" and show the individual images that make up the animation.
If you use animated clip art in a program that cannot "read" the individual clip art images, your program will only show ONE of the images in the sequence and therefore you will not see movement or animation.
Why Can't I See The Animated Clip Art?Animated images are created to be used and seen by a program or a Web browser that has the capability to see movement and/or multiple frames.
