Public Domain Clip Art © Dixie Allan

Any creative work, such as a photograph or clip art, is said to be in the public domain if there are no laws or copyrights which restrict it's use. Different countries have different definitions and guidelines, so be very careful when using public domain clip art.

If a work is within the public domain, it means that work may be used, modified or republished by any person, without the need for royalties or fear of copyright infringement.
